A big thank you to Colchester Brewery for generously donating match day beer and Man of the Match awards. Colchester Brewery, known for producing a range of characterful beers for drinkers in Essex and its neighbouring counties, truly embodies an ethos that places it at the centre of our local community, including support for the RAMA charity and events like The Odd One Out.

Our home away from the Garrison Grounds and namesake, The Odd One Out, affectionately known as 'The Oddie', is a true Colchester institution. For decades, it has been the go-to pub for beer lovers, standing out in the 80s and 90s as one of the few free houses offering a fantastic range of cask ales. Renowned for its quirky décor, well-kept beers, and the legendary house rules of former landlord John Parrick, The Oddie has earned a permanent place in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide. Since its revival under Colchester Brewery in 2017, Tom and his team have kept its unique spirit alive while also supporting local initiatives like the RAMA charity. A pub with character, history, and a passion for great beer—The Oddie is the founding base of our club.

We’re proud to support RAMA charity, a vital local organization in Colchester that provides guidance, advocacy, and community for refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants. Through practical help and compassionate outreach, RAMA ensures that those rebuilding their lives feel welcomed and empowered. As our designated charity, we champion their mission—because cricket is at its best when it brings people together, on and off the pitch, much like The Odd One Out does in fostering community spirit.
