Garrison A Cricket Ground

The historic Garrison A Cricket Ground was one of the original homes of Cricket in Essex. The first recorded match on the grounds took place in 1924 when Essex played their first first-class match against Gloucestershire. Essex played first-class matches there between 1924 and their final first-class match at the ground against Somerset in the 1972 County Championship.
The ground is now home to the Real Oddies Cricket Club.
